Looking back at 2007 - '08.

An academic year has gone by and here I am, wondering how it's been. Have I moved forward in life? Backwards? Ummm...lets see.... I havent become a wife or a mother, its still plain, old, single me.... So, cant say that I have really moved forward in life. And I havent lost a job, a life or my spirit....so, I havent moved backwards either. But I have made a huge difference in a lot of children's lives... my students now speak better English, are better-mannered and thanks to watching what I wear, they wear a lot of matching accessories with their clothes. :) My teaching skills have improved a lot and I think I'm better at dealing with people - both adults and children (literate and illiterate). I've learnt to be more mature on the whole, though I havent lost that childish fun-loving girl in me. I've become more patient and careful of what I say, do and think. A bit more generous at heart. Wow.... So, what can I say? I havent moved forward or backward.... just a little higher onto the next level, in the same place I was a year ago. Seems beat to me!
